[ 이불 밖은 눈부셔 ] 박상아, 홀링 2인전
북촌전시실에서 선보이는 이번 전시는 코로나 시대에 출산과 육아를 경험하며 느끼는 단절과 불안을 '이불'이라는 소재로 표현하는 두 작가의 이야기를 담고 있습니다.
인생화를 주제로 작업하는 박상아 작가는
눈부신 빛이 스며드는 이불 속 자신의 모습에 대해 이야기합니다.
이불 속 이야기에 집중한 여러 작품들은 분리된 캔버스를 통해 파편화된 작가의 다양한 감정들을 표현합니다.

그림책 작가이자 일러스트레이터인 홀링 작가는
산책하다 발견한 다정한 장면을 종이에 색연필로 작업한 후, 콜라주 방식을 통해 표현합니다. 작가는 용기 내어 이불 밖으로 나온 순간 세상에서 얻은 눈부신 위로를 전달하고자 합니다.
