[ 강한 바람에 날아가버린 쥬시 ]

" 강한 바람에 날아가버린 쥬시! " 작가의 세계관 "아하모텔"은 최고가 되지 못한 모든 이들이 마음 편히 쉴 수 있는 가상 혹은 현실 속 이야기입니다. 이번 전시는 아하모텔 직원인 나무요리사 “JUCIE”가 아하모텔로 가게 된 여정을 보여줍니다.

<쥬시의 이야기>

쌍둥이 마법의 섬에서 태어난 어린 JUCIE는 형제들과 비행 연습을 하던 도중 홀로 시퍼렇고 거센 비바람에 휩쓸렸습니다. 갑작스럽게 홀로 남게 된 JUCIE는 모든 상황이 낯설고 두렵기만 했습니다. 그렇게 얼마나 날았을까...

처음 보는 낯선 길에서 JUCIE는 “코비드 블루종”, “꿈 거인”과 같은 새로운 친구들을 만나게 되고, 그들과 함께 특별한 경험을 하게 됩니다.

비에 젖어 덜덜 떨고 있던 친구들에게 따스한 햇살이 스며들어 자기도 모르게 스르륵 웃음 짓기도, 꾸벅 꾸벅 졸고 있던 갈대 친구들과 넘실넘실 춤을 추기도, 잠이 든 조용한 동네에 있는 꿈 거인들을 통과할 때 다른 이들의 꿈을 경험하기도 하며... 그렇게 JUCIE는 어느 새 추운 겨울 하얗게 눈이 내리던 날, 아하모텔 건설현장에 도착합니다.

갑작스럽게 몰아친 비바람은 JUCIE에게 두려움이라는 감정을 주었지만 그 과정에서 겪은 특별한 경험들은 세상을 새롭게 바라보는 시선을 갖게 해 주었습니다.

아하모텔에 도착한 JUCIE는 이제 모든 일들이 새롭고 궁금해졌습니다.

2020년 10월부터 진행한 나무요리사 "JUCIE"의 이야기는 6명의 다른 아티스트들 (보물,치피,유우,세인,박희망,박소영)과 함께하며 평면으로만 표현되던 기존의 형태에서 퍼포먼스, 음악 등 다양한 장르와 콜라주되어 이번 전시를 통해 보여집니다.

The artist world view, “A-HA Motel” is a fiction story about everyone who can’t be the best in their life but also can relax in there.
This exhibition shows the an employee of a ha motel, “JUCIE”s journey heading to a ha motel.

<Story of JUCIE>
JUCIE was born in the twin magic island. While she was practicing flying with her brothers, young JUCIE was swept away by a strong rainstorm. Suddenly, she was left alone, and the situation she faced with is totally unknown and new to her.
On a strange new road, JUCIE meets new friends such as "Covid Blue" and "Dream Giant" and she has a special experience with them.
Warm sunshine permeates friends wet in the rain, so she is smiling without realizing it, dancing with their dozing reed friends, and experiencing other people's dreams as they pass through dream giants in a quiet sleepy neighborhood.
Finally, JUCIE arrives at the construction site of the A-HA MOTEL on the day of white snow in the cold winter.

The sudden storm and strong wind gave JUCIE the biggest fear, but the special experiences in the process gave her a new view of the world.
Arriving at the A-HA MOTEL, JUCIE is now curious about everything.

The story of tree cook JUCIE started at October 2020,
With six other artists (bomul, Chippy, Yoowoo, Sein, Park Hope, Park So-young)
It will be presented in this exhibition, will be collaborated with various genres such as performance and music in the existing form that was only expressed in planes.
